Today's Madness

Whew. I'm already exhausted and it's not even 1:30. Today has just been one of those crazy, hectic days. I'm not even sure how it has turned out that way. I thought it would be a nice leisurely day of play, since we had a playdate this morning at 9:30. But somehow from the moment I woke up this morning, I have been going non-stop. I guess it all started last night... Instead of cleaning up after supper, Scott and I spent the evening working on a speaker that Bella has been filling with her toys... We fished out her sunglasses and 3 balls. Here's a pic of Bella and Scott working on the speaker....




Bella was so happy when we found her sunglasses. She immediately put them on and said, "cool!" I guess she was so happy they were found again that she decided that she needed to eat breakfast in her shades...


Anyway, I guess waking up to a sink full of dirty dishes sort of sets the tone for the day. Bella and I were late to our playdate and Fit For Fun was just madness today. There had to have been over 100 kids there.... Okay, maybe not that many, but it sure felt like it! I felt completely overwhelmed, so I can only imagine how Bella felt. She was as busy as I've ever seen her there. She didn't spend more than 30 seconds on any activity. I lost her more times than I can count. Once, I found her at a table eating another child's food. I took the camera with intentions of getting some cute pictures of Bella and her friend, but only managed to get one...

Hopefully, this afternoon will be a little less crazy. Or else I may just start drinking.
