Until recently, her most interesting wardrobe choices have really come in the way of footwear, since her shoes were one of the only things she could reach herself. But, this has escalated lately with her new ability to reach the clothes hanging in her closet. When she appeared in the kitchen the other day wearing a different outfit that what she had previously been wearing, I asked her how she reached the clothes. Her response- "I standed on my tippy toes and reach high like dis"- as she demonstrated her go-go-gadget arm ability to reach higher than I thought possible for someone just over 39 inches tall.
She's awfully proud of her fashion statements, and is perfectly happy wearing them in public. We've had many an outing where people give us a double take- but honestly, I don't care. I think she looks fantastic!
So, this outfit is not so bad- but this orange and pink skirt is one of her favorites.
This is what I got when I asked her to go put on some shoes to go to dance... I'm sure it's not exactly what most ballerinas choose.
On the way to the grocery store- this outfit got a lot of reaction!
